DLSA Reasi holds awareness prog on legal rights for women empowerment

Reasi | : District Legal Services Authority Reasi today organized another Legal Awareness Program on the “Empowerment of Women” under NALSA-NCW collaborative Project here at Panchayat Ghar Gran Beoyitra .
During the event, organised under the aegis of NALSA and JKLSA and on the directions of R.N. Watal Chairman DLSA Reasi, the resource persons explained the Legal Rights available to women under different Statues at length to the participants.
Through this Awareness Camp an attempt was made by District Legal Services Authority Reasi to make the Women participants aware about their Legal Rights so that they can avail those rights as and when need arises to them. The program was attended by the members of Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission, Mahila Shakti Kendra Reasi, a large number of women of different Self help groups based in different parts of the District Reasi and the women folk living in the vicinity of the Panchayat Ghar.
