Srinagar: National Conference MP Anantnag Hasnain Masoodi has expressed deep anguish over an incident of conflagration in Larnoo Kokernag and sought compensation for the fire victims.
Masoodi while expressing unison with the affected prayed for their speedy revival impressed upon the district administration to come to their rescue.
Expressing concern over the shortage of fire services stations in the area, he said the property suffered massive damages as fire brigade had to be called from Kokernag because local unit hasn’t been made functional amongst others for the reason that the building though handed over a year before has been reportedly converted into residence by a local officer. He demanded that fire services station be immediately set up at Larnoo and Kokarnag and fire post be also made available at the higher reaches of entire South Kashmir.
