EJAC discusses employees issues at key meet in Srinagar, Sajad Parray nominated Gen.Secy

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Employees Joint Action (J&K EJAC) held a day long session at Srinagar which was Presided over by President EJAC Mohd Rafique Rather. The meeting was attended by most of the unit heads of the amalgam, and some important issues of employees were discussed threadbare.
Participants of the meeting raised the issues confronting their employees and it was decided that a representation containing all pending issues shall be submitted in detail to government. It was also decided that nonpayment of salary to most of PSU’s for many months, which is creating social issues for employees, shall be taken up with the concerned managements and government to seek immediate redressal.
President EJAC said that regularisation issue of adhoc, daily wagers, consolidated, academic arrangement and other temporary employees is a cause of concern to EJAC leadership and said that there will be no compromise on these issues which he called a human issue. Urging upon the government to release pending salary of employees working in different PSU’s and formulate a comprehensive policy for regularisation of all adhoc and temporary employees Rather said that if the government displays non-seriousness in resolving these issues , The EJAC will be left with no option but to protest on roads till redressal of pending issues. President EJAC Rafique Rather on the occasion nominated Sajad Ahmad Parray, Sr.leader EJAC and President Daily wagers united forum as Gen.Secretary EJAC, which was endorsed by all senior leaders and unit heads in one voice.Hailing contribution of Sajad paray, Rather said that Sajad Parray is a young, dynamic and energetic leader who has contributed a lot in employees movement, a visionary young leader with the capacity to lead. Congratulating Sajad Parray, President EJAC expressed hope that EJAC will get more united and strong under Sajad Parray who was directed take the assignment with immediate effect.
Rather hailed the services of outgoing General Secretary Khursheed Ahmad Bhat, who is retiring from services this month. Calling him a brave, gentle and sober soul Rather said that his contribution in getting employees issues redressed will be remembered for ever. Participants of the meeting prayed for his better and prosperous post retirement life
