Ba’pora: As part of ongoing country wide celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav, Police in Bandipora organized a painting competition at DPL Bandipora.
The competition was held in two age groups viz, below 8th class & above 8th class for both boys and girls of subdivision Bandipora. Ayman Altaf resident of Muslimabad Bandipora & Sumiya Farooq resident of Kaloosa bagged first positions, Seerat Farooq resident of Kaloosa & Mania Singh resident of Delhi bagged second positions and Mohmmad Owais resident of Kaloosa Bandipora & Mukaram Sofi resident of Kaloosa bagged third positions in their respective age groups.
After the culmination of the event, DySP Hqrs Bandipora Mohammad Idrees and DySP DAR Bandipora Eshfaq Alam distributed the prizes among the position holders. The winners of the competition were honoured with trophies and appreciation certificates. Officers also wished them good luck for their future.
Officers in their address to the participants appreciated the success and intelligence of students. They also stressed upon the young budding artists of the district to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of art.
