Srinagar: Kashmir Press Club (KPC) in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Kashmir, on Saturday organised the second dose of vaccination drive for journalists at the premises of KPC in Srinagar.
The media fraternity reiterated the demand that the journalists should be considered as frontline workers.
Dr Shabeela, in charge of the vaccination drive said that the Health Department Kashmir in collaboration with the KPC on Saturday organised the second dose of vaccination for the journalist fraternity.
“The purpose of the vaccination is the message for all sections of the society to get vaccinated, there are still some sections of people who show hesitancy towards vaccines,” Shabeela said.
“Many awareness programs are being held, after rumours were spread about the vaccine, however people now understand the importance of vaccines and are coming forward for vaccination,” she said.
