Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza Thursday appealed to the people of the district to adhere to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and take every measure including vaccination to keep Covid at bay.
The DC said this during his routine weekly briefing adding that strict adherence to CAB, getting vaccinated is all for future safety. Easing restrictions on a large scale does not mean all apprehensions are over, we still need to be cautious, he added.
Giving details regarding the present Covid situation in the district, the DC said that presently there are 98 active positive patients, while recovery rate has reached 99.5 percent and positivity rate is at 0.02 percent.
