Srinagar: Amid surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths Police have realized fine of Rs 5,64,570/- from 3911 in the last 24 hours for defying the prevailing lockdown restrictions aimed at containing the disease transmission
In a statement issued on Friday police said that it is taking all measures to implement strict lockdown restriction announced by the government for containing community transmission of the covid -19 pandemic”, stating therein further that “ the special drive against the violators of Covid-19 guidelines/rules continued throughout all the districts of Kashmir Valley to ensure that people adhere to SOPs/ guidelines envisaged by government to curb COVID-19 pandemic”.
In it’s concluded para of its above referred statement police appealed people to cooperate with it in containing the spread of Coronavirus by following the SOPs/ guidelines/ protocols for the safety of the people and also reiterated therein that the special drive shall continue throughout the districts of Kashmir Valley to strengthen the safety measures.
