Srinagar: People’s conference senior Leader and former deputy chief minister Muzaffar Beigh and his wife DDC Chairperson of Baramulla District Safeena Beigh have been tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday.
Confirming the reports over phone Safeena Beigh said, “Yes, unfortunately it’s true and we have started medication for the same.”
Both Muzaffar beigh and his wife are under home quarantine.
Safeena Beigh also appealed to those who had come in contact with her recently to isolate themselves and, if necessary, undergo Covid test.
Doctors are monitoring the health of her and Muzaffar Beigh , she added.
Meanwhile she has advised the people to follow covid protocols strictly and as Covid-19 cases have started rising again,added that the people who visit tulip and other gardens in srinagar should wear face masks mandatory to contain spread of coronavirus.
