ADC inspects snow clearance, visits DH Handwara

Kupwara: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir Wednesday took stock of snow clearance operations in the Sub Division.
The ADC inspected various lanes and by-lanes of Handwara town besides Nowgam-Handwara beacon road and Qalamabad Market and took stock of snow clearance. He stressed upon the concerned agencies for immediate clearance of roads to ensure hassle free movement of vehicles and general public.
Later, the ADC visited District Hospital Handwara, where he inspected various wards of the hospital and examined attendance of the staff.
The ADC directed the concerned to ensure proper treatment and healthcare of the patients. He inspected various sections of the hospital including emergency, operation theatre, X-ray, Gynae and Post Operation ward.
He inquired about the availability of medicines, other facilities and establishment of isolation ward for CoronaVirus patients, if any and also directed the concerned to provide every medical facilities to people of sub-division.
