7 forms rejected after scrutiny, 310 found valid for phase-II in G’bal

G’bal: According to the District Election Officer (DEO) Ganderbal, 07 forms have been rejected after the scrutiny of nomination papers filed for phase-II of DDC constituencies of Kangan-A, B and C and vacant seats of Sarpanches and Panches here Tuesday at concerned Returning Officers (RO) headquarters.
As per the details, a total of 317 nomination papers were received for phase-II, among these 28 Nomination forms were filed for DDC elections and all were found valid and 24 Nomination forms for sarpanch seats were received and 1 was found invalid thus rejected, while as 23 forms were found valid after scrutiny.
Similarly 265 forms were received for Panch seats out of which 6 got rejected and 259 were found valid after scrutiny.
The last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 19, 2020.
