Uri: Former Minister and senior Congress Leader Taj Mohi Uddin said that It was because of illegal detention of political leaders that forced them to unite and form People’s alliance Gupkar declaration.
Local news gathering agency KNS quoted senior Congress leader as saying that it was their mistake that they didn’t participate in previous elections which gave BJP a free hand.
On being asked about the main role of PAGD, he said that the main motive is only devlopment for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Restoration of Article 370 and other rights will be fought legally in the court of law as the petition has already been filed in the supreme court and will reurge for cognizance.”
He said that they are Indians and there should be no question on their nationalism. “We are more patriotic than you,” he said while referring to BJP. He also said that they cannot accept the constitution and manifesto of BJP.
