Kupwara: According to District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Kupwara, Anshul Garg after the scrutiny of papers Friday, all 196 nomination papers were found valid and have been accepted.
As many as 196 nomination papers of candidates for 3 DDC constituencies viz. Kalaroos, Kralpora and Tangdar and vacant seats of Sarpanches and Panches were received.
The scrutiny was done by the concerned Returning Officers Friday and the last date for withdrawal of the candidature for the first phase is November 16, 2020. While as, polling is scheduled to be held on November 28.
