DPEO B’pora issues notification for Phase-III of DDC, Panchayat by- elections

Bandipora: District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday issued notification for third phase of Panchayat by-elections for the vacant Sarpanch and Panch seats of the Panchayat Halqas of Bonakoot block and District Development Council Constituencies of District Bandipora including Bonakoot and Bandipora blocks partly.
According to the District Panchayat Election Officer, the last date for filing nomination is 18th November, 2020 and the date of scrutiny is November 19th while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is 21 November 2020. The polls are scheduled to be held on 4th December, 2020.
The nomination paper in respect of both vacant Sarpanch and Panch seats can be obtained free of cost from the concerned Returning Officers from their Office headquarters. For Panchayat Halqa Athwatoo, Guzerbal, Aham sharief and Panar, the nomination papers shall be available at GMS Aham sharief while for Sonerwani-A, Sonerwani-B, Mantrigam, Kralpora and Badbuthoo nomination papers shall be available at HSS Mantrigam.
For Bonakoot-A, Bonakoot-C and Bonakoot-D, nomination papers shall be available at HS Bonakoot.
For the election of District Development Council in the third phase of the polls in Bonakoot and Bandipora (partly), the last date for filing nomination papers is 18th November, 2020 while 19th November 2020 is the date of scrutiny. Last date for withdrawal of candidature is 21th November while these constituencies will go for polls on 4th December 2020.
The nomination paper in respect of DDC members can be obtained free of cost from the concerned Returning Officers from their Office headquarters. For Bonakoot block nomination papers shall be available at BDO Office Bonakoot.
The nomination paper shall be duly filled up in the office headquarter of Returning Officers concerned or at designated ARO office or in the office of ARO (HQ) located at Mini Secretariat DC Complex Bandipora.
