Kulgam: The BJP leaders Friday alleged that deputy commissioner and SSP of Kulgam district were responsible for the killing of three BJP men including Yuwa Morcha General Secretary.
Many BJP leaders including J&K chef of the party Ravinder Raina visited the residences of slain trio in Kulgam district of South Kashmir to express solidarity with the bereaved families.
Talking to reporters, Raina said that the sacrifices of BJP workers won’t go in vain and the sponsored militancy in Kashmir will have to pay the price.
“World powers must join hands to conduct NATO airstrikes on militant camps in Pakistan like strikes were conducted on Al-Qaeda and Taliban,” he said, adding that that the trio were innocent and were killed for their love for the country.
BJP J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur while speaking to media men said that DDC Kulgam and SSP Kulgam were responsible for their killing. “We contacted DC and SSP many a times and told him that our leaders are facing threats, but they never took it as serious,” he alleged. “It is totally a security failure which led to the killing of three innocent people for which two officers are responsible.”
Pertinently, three BJP workers including Yuva Morcha President Fida Hussian Itoo, Umar Rashid both residents of Y K Pora, Qazigund and Umar Ramzan of Sopat, Qazigund were killed on Thursday evening in a militant attack.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people participated in funerals of slain trio which were held at different places in the area. Eyewitnesses said that hundreds of people assembled at the residences of slain trio and took part in their last rites on Friday
