Leaders of CAPD Employees Association Kashmir discuss pressing issues of employees with Simrandeep

Srinagar: A top delegation of CAPD Employees Association Kashmir comprising it’s President Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Vice President Abdul Qayyum Baig, General Secretary Feroz Ahmed Najjar and Secretary Manzoor Ishbari here on Monday met Commissioner / Secretary to the Government, Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs , Jammu and Kashmir at his office in Civil Secretariat Srinagar and discussed at length with him pressing issues of Employees, Fair Price Shop Dealers and workers. Khan recalled the deliberations of association’s meeting held on 7th March 2018 chaired by the then Minister for FCS&CA Department Choudhary Zulfikar Ali and highlighted before the incumbent Secretary FCS & CA Simrandeep Singh the issues of Employees, Fair Price Shop Dealers and workers working in the Department. Khan told Simrandeep Singh that only promises and commitments were made for time bound redressal of the grievances of the Employees, Fair Price Shop Dealers and workers, but of no avail.
The Leaders of CAPD Employees Association Kashmir placed the following demands and pressing issues before the Secretary Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Simrandeep Singh :-
1. Re-organization of FCS & CA Department.
2. Absorption of Fair Price Shop Dealers and workers in the Department.
3. Increasing un-loading charges.
4. Removal of pay anomalies.
5. Issuance of wastage on ration.
6. Emphasis was also laid on waiving off ration and empty bags from the accounts of employees, which was destroyed by the 2005 earthquake and the catastrophic floods of 2014.
The Commissioner, Secretary FCS &CA Simrandeep Singh assured COPD Employees Association Kashmir that pressing issues of Fair Price Shop Dealers and other demands will be resolved on priority . Aijaz Ahmad Khan, President CAPD Employees Association Kashmir hoped that under the leadership of Simrandeep Singh the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs would progress by leaps and bounds. Khan assured all the Employees of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Fair Price Shop Dealers and workers that fight for the resolution of their demands will be taken to logical conclusion .
