Budgam | September, 12: A man and his minor son were killed, while his wife was critically injured after the motorcycle they were traveling on collided with a car in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday. Officials said the family was riding on a motorcycle when the collision took place in the Soibugh area. The rider and his minor son sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Soibugh, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
The deceased were identified as Naseer Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Hassan Mir, resident of Goom Ahmadpora, Magam, and his minor son Hadi. His wife, Dilshada Akhter, sustained critical injuries and was initially treated at PHC Soibugh before being referred to Srinagar for specialized medical care. Officials said police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the fatal crash.
