Suicide not a remedy to heal pain

It’s estimated that around 15 per cent of the adult population will experience depression at one point or another throughout life. And, accordingly to the World Health Organization, that means there are currently over 300 million people in the world currently living with depression. Whatever the cause, for some of these people, the emotional pain will become too much and they will consider suicide as an option of escape. In fact, around 800,000 people go through with suicide every year, and for each of those, there are around 25 times more suicide attempts. If we talk about the Indian Suicide Rate According to a 2012 Lancet report, suicide rates in India are highest in the 15-29 age group — the youth population. The report says that among men, 40% suicides were by individuals aged 15-29, while for women it was almost 60%.In Kashmir Valley it has witnessed an increase in suicides as So Many Young People lost their lives in Last Few DaysThese figures are about only the cases that were reported while the unreported ones go undocumented. Nearly 24,000 men and women, mostly young, have attempted suicide in the last 17 years in Kashmir. Of them about 3,000 have been successful. Shockingly, most of them were between the age of 16 and 25. The figures point to a psychological catastrophe in the conflict-ridden Kashmir Valley. According to studies 79 per cent of the urban and rural population in the Valley suffers from depression. Anxiety, stress and depression are some of the factors that contribute to suicide. Suicide is also more prevalent in teenagers and youngsters, especially females. If we compare Kashmir to western societies the rate is less, but among Muslim societies the suicides in Kashmir are very high -the highest. In the recent past several people including some girls attempted suicide. The increased incidence of suicide attempts, particularly among the Kashmiri youth, has become a serious concern for the people.Parental pressure, tough competition in studies and career, lack of moral and religious education, Love Affair are the main reasons for these suicidal attempts among youth As per the Study.
Our educated Youths, social activists etc should come forward & make such programs which will highlight the preventions, ill effects & disadvantages of suicide in the valley as we don’t want to loose our blooming buds anymore in our heaven Kashmir.
To face challenges in life is one of the best rewards which a person gets after sometime. We have to live with challenges in life, we have to face whatever the problems, tensions, obstacles may come in our day to day life. Life is very precious; one should not destroy his life for whatever reasons. One Must have hope, belief & trust on Almighty. Suicide doesn’t heal any pain in fact it gives more pain to his nears and dears. One should be grateful for having whatsoever in his life. Hurting parents after attempting suicide is one of the big sin which is not forgivable. Our younger generation should have skills like good ways of dealing with stress and solving problems. They should have religious and cultural beliefs that life is important. ‘Suicide In Islam”, Allah the Almighty says, do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful [Qur`an 4: 29]. Thabit Ibn Al-Dahak narrated that the Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] said, “Whosoever kills himself with anything in this world will be tortured with it on the Day of Judgment.” “the agony which nears & dears face after loosing their young ones. “The person, who completes suicide, dies once. Those left behind die a thousand deaths, trying to relive those terrible moments and understand… why? Sometimes people who commit suicide are not fully aware or are in such a dark place that they don’t consider that taking their own life will create a huge amount of pain for their loved-ones left behind. Imagine how you would feel if a person you care deeply about took their own life. It’s difficult to recover from the death of a loved one, but it’s usually harder if the individual committed suicide. The act of suicide leaves people behind with unanswered questions and feelings of confusion and shame, as well as the guilt around being able to prevent the suicide. “If You Love Anyone Here Is What You Have To Say” If you want to show me that you really love me, don’t say that you would die for me, instead stay alive for me. This Inspirational Line shows deep sentiment from a friend, family member or a partner in a close relationship. People who are feeling suicidal can often feel like they are a burden to their loved ones, which is not the case. This Line serves as a personal reminder from your loved ones that they would much prefer you to stay in their lives than to leave. If you really want to sacrifice your life, do it by living and contributing to make someone else’s life better – rather than eliminating your existence. According to this creation plan of the Creator, every person must live in hope. There is no reason or excuse for becoming pessimistic. The world is full of opportunities. If someone fails in doing something, he should take it as a temporary setback or an inordinate delay, and not as a final failure. In such a situation, committing suicide is not an option for any individual. One has to adopt the formula of wait and see, rather than killing oneself, for, by ending one’s life, one leaves no other option open. Moreover our educated Youths, social activists etc should come forward & make such programs which will highlight the preventions, ill effects & disadvantages of suicide in the valley as we don’t want to loose our blooming buds anymore in our heaven Kashmir.
