Islam- The word itself narrates the whole ideology and about the religion which means “Peace attend by submitting or surrendering your will to god”. In Islam, Achieving peace is the ultimate goal for the human being which can only get by submitting or surrendering your wills to Almighty god. The ‘Will’ here means the wrong or evil desires. A desire can be right or wrong, positive or negative, and evildoing or right doing. Like someone have desire to drink alcohol everyday or some desire to remain free everytime without doing any kind of work and some desires to kill anyone. So from the above statement, we can conclude that Islam talks about controlling the evil desires or submitting yourself to do what Allah tells to you for attainement of peace.
2. For a worldly sense:World is like a school. Allah is its director or founder. Islam is the Study. Prophets are the teachers. Quran is the book. Our life is an examination. We are the students. We have both the right path and the wrong path. Right path is to follow Allah, Prophets and Quran to pass the examination. The wrong path is to disbelief or deny them. If you follow the Right path, Allah will gives you heaven as a gift and If you follow the wrong path, Allah will give you hell as a punishment.
3. Islam teaches about how to live a life in right and appropriate way by obeying Allah-the creator of whole humanity and the universe, performing prayers for internal peace, reading Quran for guidance and understanding of the message of almighty god to refrain from wrong path, performing fast to know the values of Allah’s mercy and respecting parents and elders, kindness towards poors, love to youngers’, helping to needy persons are its some features.
4. Islam is the monotheist religion talks about one god which is Allah and Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as His messenger. Messenger are the people who carries God’s message to people and to tell and aware them about right and wrong path. The Adam, The Abraham, The Nuh, The Moses, The Isha And finally the last one was The Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) who carries the messages of god in different time periods. Lord Rama and Krishna can also be the messenger of Allah, but people unfortunately believe them as God rather than a messenger.
Why I need to believe on Islam instead of following other religion?
Ans. In Quran, Allah says, “There is no god but Allah and Prophet Muhammad is the last messenger of Him and ever human on this earth has to follow his guidance to attain peace”. It means to get on the right path we have to believe on Allah and the last messenger. There were The Adam, The Moses, The Isha- the messengers of Allah for that particular time of period in which they had sent by the Allah. But for now and for the infinite time period when the universe will remain in existence, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) will only be the messenger and each single person of this universe has to follow his messages that “That there is no god but Allah And Prophet Mohammad is His messenger”.
We just leave all material things here itself and die. See, Our wealth will be taken by someone else after death anyhow. But In Islam, there will be questions for property, material things and each deed we left in this life. One has to testate everything before his death, one has to repent for all his sins before death.
Like Christianity and Judaism, Islam emerged in the Middle East, but is now truly a world religion. There are more than one billion Muslims across the globe: from Bosnia to Zanzibar and the United States to China. Given its long history and its rich geographical and cultural diversity, any single portrait of Islam would necessarily be incomplete. The diversity of Islam is a part of and a testament to its strength: its message has proven viable and adaptable across the boundaries of time and culture. Fundamental to Islamic belief is the concept of one God, who, throughout history, has sent many prophets and messengers to peoples of every culture and nation so that they may guide them to live in accordance with God’s will. According to the vast majority of Muslims, God’s final prophet and messenger was Muhammad, and God’s final revelation was the Quran, regarded as the verbatim word of God. Since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, communities of faithful Muslims have responded to God’s word, interpreting the teachings of Islam in each new century and within many cultural contexts.
Today thoughts of atheists are wide spread. Even Muslims live like this is the only life they live, they need to achieve something in life and enjoy as much as they can, etc… Actually, There is a concept of Imaan in Islam. One must believe in Allah’s existence, the day of judgement and the permanent life after death.
Whatever we earn in this life is simply temporary. We just leave all material things here itself and die. See, Our wealth will be taken by someone else after death anyhow. But In Islam, there will be questions for property, material things and each deed we left in this life. One has to testate everything before his death, one has to repent for all his sins before death. Actually, Islam doesn’t have luxury living. Except for a few prophets, most of the prophets lived in poverty. Our prophet Muhammad (SAW) has said that Majority of people in heaven will be poor; Majority of people in Hell will be women; So, it doesn’t mean that poor are cursed, rich are blessed; Islam has equality. Not Arab, rich, white people are superior than other people in Islam. Blindness, deaf, dumb, handicapped, illness, poverty, hungry and all tests of this world to the selective people by Allah. Allah likes them more than anybody else. So,
1: This world is temporary
2:This life is a deceiving enjoyment
3: Allah will make everything better.
May All of us get close to Allah and enter heaven.
