Srinagar/May,9 : A COVID-19 patient died on Tuesday morning at Chest Diseases Hospital Srinagar and with this death the over all COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 47.
Hospital sources at Chest Diseases Hospital Srinagar said ” a COVID-19 patient from Sopore, an auto driver by profession, died Tuesday morning at Srinagar’s Chest Diseases (CD) hospital “, adding that “the patients was admitted to SMHS hospital Srinagar on May 19 after he met with an accident”. Sources said the patient was shifted to CD hospital two days ago after he tested positive for coronavirus.
Confirming the death a top government official said “the deceased will be buried as per the covid-19 protocol.” With this death the death toll has mounted to 47 in Jammu and Kashmir. As already reported 5 deaths highest in a single day after the COVID-19 break out in the country were reported on Monday this week with one belonging to Jammu division and four to Kashmir valley.
