Syed Mustafa Ahmad

The journey of twelve years was not smooth
Because the garden is full of thorns.
The journey sometimes took to a booth
And there the life was full of horns.
You love the basic nature of journalism
That teaches us to bow before real news.
You are internationalists but love regionalism
Because you want to have diverse views.
The stories of the unknown are made known,
To teach us that the reality of a state.
If there is no dress, you look out for a gown
Because your dress doesn’t have any rate.
Your dream is for a healthy society,
Where everything is in true form.
You are satisfied with your true royalty
And does not care about the fake charm.
We sleep and all of you work,
To keep a watch over our thoughts.
In case of an emergency, you give a jerk
Because you don’t want us to have dreadful bouts.
Patience is the hallmark of your profession
Because you know the role of a living being.
When there is nothing to imitate, you take to imitation
To have a landscape worth seeing.
Abuses are hurled at you and you accept them
In order to keep the value of honesty.
Without a ladder, you are told to hold the Moon’s hem
Because the world never fills any kind of satiety.
Socially, the evils of society are highlighted
To make us understand that we are not social.
The teachings are taught to be enlightened
Because without enlightenment, we are unsocial.
Politically, you are engaged in democracy
Because you want people enjoy the basic things.
Sometimes, you call democracy as democrazy
Because people try to clip their wings.
Economically, you are for the fair distribution of wealth.
Wealth that is the concern of majority.
You want to bring economy in a good health
Since economy costs a lot of casualty.
Morally, you are a moderate path
To find out the truest soul,
So that they are saved from God’s wrath
And in the world, achieve the truest goal.
You provide platform to everyone
Because you are an architect of a nation.
The true work is always to
And there is no case of discrimination.
