Ang: Additional District Magistrate Ghulam Hassan Sheikh Monday seized 11 vehicles for violation of lock-down guidelines and non-compliance of directives enforced in the district.
The Additional District Magistrate on the occasion called for strict observance of lock-down, adding that non-compliance shall attract harsh provisions under National Disaster Management Act 2005 and section 188 of IPC.
He said it was the duty of all stakeholders to enforce lock-down and contribute in containing incidence of COVID-19 infection.
He also called upon media persons to render support to the district administration in enforcing complete social distancing measures in red zones and avoiding non-compliance of lock-down.
