“We are all like the bright moon, we still have our darker side.” KHALIL JIBRAN.
The Covid19 pandemic is not any new life eliminating disease to the world , although its causes and effects might be unknown and new to us. But these sorts of pandemic, disasters, catastrophes, and so on arising from time to time have hit millions and billions of human lives and animals on this planet. The people living on this earth have witnessed these sort of dreadful disasters since they have been sent to reside in the universe. Time to time people have been given the toughest and worst times by the natural disasters in the form of pandemics and other drastic natural calamities. They erased the precious lives of both humans as well as animals. But it is a common proverb that, “the darkest hour is before the dawn,” and every darkness is overpowered by a bright sunshine. Amid covid19, there is also something for which we can cheer up, the whole world could cheer up for something that showered and casted some positives upon the earth. Although, the people are sobbing, wailing, crying and are in tears for the remedy to come which could heal many lives, but still there is something for which they can cheer up even in this sort of catastrophic conditions and that can be seen in the form of environmental change, which is healing at fast speed. The disasters and catastrophes to our environment can be seen healing at its fullest speed, which we humans were responsible since from time immemorial. The aquatic species can be seen swimming, diving in the seas, rivers and other water bodies and aquatic can be witnessed with fresh water. The birds which were at the verge of extinction could be seen flying high in the above atmosphere, they are smiling, chirping and flying at their fullest speeds and heights. The beautiful flowers can be seen blooming in adoration, the greenery is back, which had been dried up by human carelessness for many years. Amid covid19, there is still something positive we could cheer for, the healing up touch to other creations of the globe has begin, which were almost erased from the earth by our materialistic concepts and approaches towards them. Since covid19 disease is totally a new, unknown virus and the medical experts are fighting for its remedy, but it is not either a new disease to us. As people have witnessed so many such diseases in the past too. It has been a sort of phenomenal measures of the nature to come up with such pandemics from one generation to another, from time to time and the people have been challenged and tested to fight with them. Sometimes such diseases and many other calamities have successfully erased millions and billions of lives of human beings and animals, erasing them from the planet. But still people were able to combat with such catastrophes and control their death toll by discovering vaccines and other remedial measures. At present, people are worrying about this virus and its vaccination and although this disease is spreading very fast in humans, but the matter of fact can be collected with a data available to us that it’s death rate is not something which could erase all human beings from the earth. Over a period of time, the diseases like Spanish flu, Malaria, Jaundice, TB etc. have effected the lives of millions of inhabitants living on the earth so ruthlessly and their death toll too was immensely large and high. In the year 1918, It is estimated that about 500 million people or one-third of the world’s population became infected with Spanish flu. The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States. Mortality was high in people younger than 5 years old, 20-40 years old, and 65 years and older. The high mortality in healthy people, including those in the 20-40 year age group, was also a unique feature of this virus. Same is the case with other diseases, they too have erased millions of human lives on the earth in the past.
The atmosphere above us is looking calm and clean and the pollution free atmosphere can be seen since from emerging of this disease. Hence we humans are in sort of despair and hopelessness but above all, the flying creatures are marrying in the atmosphere.
This data with death toll number clearly portrays a picture in front of us that the globe has been given the challenges by the pandemics from time to time by various causes and effects. In that sense, disease like covid19 is not a new disease to us, but on the other hand we could not either compromise to it or let this pandemic spread all doors of the world. Prevention is amongst the highest measures we could do at present. Otherwise it will prove fatal than Spanish flu, even though having all medical knowledge and wisdom. Amid covid19, which has produced wails and cries in humans, there is still some positives arising from it. The science and technology and space research knowledgeable think tanks have recently issued a statement about the healing of Ozone layer in the atmosphere in which they admitted the lockdown is rapidly healing the shrinking Ozone layer again and is responding positively. The atmosphere above us is looking calm and clean and the pollution free atmosphere can be seen since from emerging of this disease. Hence we humans are in sort of despair and hopelessness but above all, the flying creatures are marrying in the atmosphere. They are flying in the air which is liberal, free from embodied pollution by human activities. Covid19 has stranded the activities of humans but paves smooth way to those creatures which were caged by human materialism and selfishness since times immemorial. They are free to enjoy on their own ways and wills. The timely barrier and hindrance created by humans on them is now lifting it’s restrictions and they are feeling free in the fresh atmosphere. They are talking with the skies, their restraining movements are nowhere found, they are feeling the same atmosphere which once upon they used to have. Amid covid 19, people used to stay indoors thus creating a perfect environment to plant species. The aquatic plants regenerate and revitalise again in the rivers and seas. They start to bloom again as they used to bloom before decades. The people refraining from throwing solid and liquid wastes in water result in the blooming of such flowers like free floating flowers, Water Hyacinth ,Water Lettuce, Sensitive Plant , Lucky 4-Leaf Clover, Moneywort , Mosaic Flower etc. In the light of fresh water many aquatic animals could be seen revitalising again, thus getting perfect habitation, where they once used to live. Amid this virus, nowadays we see stars shinning clearly in the sky more than ever. Scientifically, it has been only possible because of healthy atmosphere. On one side people have shut down all industrial sectors, factories, automobiles, etc. Thus creating a golden chance to pave a way to healthy atmosphere, and sky above us is looking so fresh and clean. These all positive approaches of the nature witnessing by the people on the globe is something we can cheer up for and in it some optimistic could be found in the near future. Let us hope for the best to come for whole humanity. Let us hope God will give healing touch to the environment, other species and as well as eliminate covid19 for once and all.
