Srinagar : Vice Chairman (VC), LWDA, Tufail Matto took an extensive tour of Hadoora, Bakura & Dignibal catchment area of Dal Lake to review the ongoing works done in the area by the Watershed Management Division of LWDA. He was accompanied by the officers of the Watershed Management Division.
The V C was informed that the Division has planted 60000 plants in the catchment area of Dal lake during current plantation season.
The V C lauded the efforts of the Watershed Management Division for taking care of catchment area. He directed the officers to restore and stabilize the catchment area of Dal lake so that broader objective of saving the lake is achieved.
