Baramulla : With the imposition of nationwide lockdown aimed to check the deadly spread of Corona virus, the Baramulla District Administration is winning appreciations from various quarters for promptly delivering essential commodities to people left stranded due to lockdown.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. G N Itoo came for praise from Union Minister of State, Dr Jatinder Singh. The Union Minister tweeted appreciating the district administration’s gesture for providing home delivery of LPG to people on massive scale with full protective gear. The minister tweeted “DC Baramulla G N Itoo deserves appreciation” adding “Home delivery of LPG undertaken with full protective gear”, besides posting the picture of a delivering person equipped with full protective gear and carrying LPG cylinder on his shoulder.
Moreover, general public through various social media platform also lauded the dynamic leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo, for remaining on toes during this critical period and mobilizing all available resources so that public convenience is placed on priority with without compromising the public health.
Further, people from different corners of the district have also appreciated the DC Baramulla for reaching out to the groups of stranded non-local laborers within days and ensuring delivery of essential services smoothly and efficiently.
