70 persons sent to home quarantine, urges people to observe complete lockdown

Ang: District Administration, Anantnag, Saturday, sent 70 persons to home quarantine after successful completion of their 14 days administrative quarantine.
District Magistrate, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Dar, expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for the quarantined persons, adding that that so far the district has remained safe due to cooperation of the people in observing complete lockdown and tracing those who had travelled to Covid-19 affected nations.
He reiterated his appeal to the people to support the administration by way of observing the lockdown religiously and not to venture out of their homes unnecessarily.
The district administration has created administrative quarantine facilities for 228 persons while the hospital quarantine facility has been augmented to 220 persons, said CMO Anantnag.
Besides, the medical staff has been well equipped to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic and have been provided 570 PPEs, 2350 N – 95 Masks, 37000 triple layer Masks, 1200 Sanitizers, 10050 gloves, 3050 Disposable Gowns, 6200 Shoe Covers and 200 Head Covers for frontline Medicals Officials.
