Srinagar: Srinagar Police has taken an initiative of first identifying the families in dire need of food essentials and then reaching out to all these families with a Survival Ration Kit, so that these families are not forced by the circumstances to move out of their houses in search of essentials. Keeping in view the emerging situation of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the lockdown in City Srinagar, large number of people particularly the dailywagers must be facing difficulties in feeding their families under these testing times of a global crisis.
Govt is reaching out to its people through all concerned departments like CAPD, so the essentials are available to the general public. To reach to the left out people and the non local labourers, District Police Srinagar has launched a drive “Srinagar Police Help Aid” and has taken an initiative to help people in distress and need by providing Ration Kits and even financial assistance to the people in need. The funds for such a drive have been raised by the voluntary contribution of the Officers and Officials of District Police Srinagar.
Srinagar Police is committed to reach out to the people in distress and help them through cash and kind. DySP Headquarters Srinagar has been appointed as the nodal officer of the drive for District Srinagar and who can be contacted on given numbers, 0194-2311257, 9596110791,7006978323,959655488.
