Udhampur: In a major relief to the registered building construction workers of Udhampur district who are facing hard time due to lock down to combat the spread of corona pandemic, the Labour Department Udhampur Wednesday disbursed an amount of Rs 41,44000 among all active workers.
In this connection Assistant Labour Commissioner Udhampur, Ranjeet Singh informed that Rs 1000 per worker through DBT was disbursed among 4144 workers as wage assistance for purchase of ration and other essentials.
