Sajid Rasool
As the whole world is cognizant about COVID-19 and its consequences for it has spoil sported the zest and solace of every human creature? This pernicious virus has boiled the whole world. It has changed the pages of living. People who were struggling in order to flourish are now uncertain about their survival. It seems as the world would abruptly come to a grinding halt. This small entity has made life difficult. It has created ambiguity among imperial nations. World economy has gone astray. People all around globe are wailing for mercy. It has held the globe bizarre. It has enveloped the whole world with fear, anxiety and despair. Every nation has been breaking its back over this catastrophe (virus) for past few months. It seems that everyone except the creator is poor ahead of the virus. Still a ray of hope exists i,e the discovery of vaccine. All eyes have turned to see the vaccine being discovered by any nation.I personally believe that it is just the game of nature. It seems that nature too is following physics; remind Newton’s third law of motion. For a while consider this catastrophe as the reaction of the nature for our avaricious activities viz deforestation, pollution, resource exploitation and likewise activities against nature. Truth be told, earth is one of the beautiful planets in solar system. The only planet which nests majority of all the living creatures. Though it tolerates our mischievous activities as well. We should therefore put our efforts to accelerate the beauties of nature and try to hinder those activities which disturb its natural balance. Since the outbreak of this virus occurred in Wuhan, the capital of Hubia China, and has spread globally. WHO has declared it as pandemic one; that which spreads globally enveloping the whole universe? Talking about this disease, it is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-COV-2). As this disease escalates like forest fire and in conflagration thus it will take intense efforts to put out this conflagration. In order to contend this fatal disease we must act parallely and in a disciplined manner. We must follow the authorities and should not act like fools.we must ensure our safety and security for that we should regularly visit hospitals, disclose our travel history otherwise it may prove disastrous. In order to save our self from this deadly virus we should not leave any stone unturned to break the chain of infection of this disease.
Outbreak of this disease might be a reminder from Almighty Allah that he can do anything. His will overrides everything in existence and his will is the best! So this fatal disease may prove a productive one for wise. This epidemic might have proven a turning point in someone’s life. We should immediately turn to Almighty Allah and should make repentance for our sins.
Social distancing is one of the methods to break this chain. In addition to this we should suggest the suspected person to undergo proper testing so that he/she receives early treatment and prevents its spread to others. Apart from this, our society has developed negative perception about the affected individuals and they are usually being abused and cursed. This behaviour surely is not acceptable and praiseworthy. It is certain that disease can attack to any person; it is an involuntary action of nature. No one knows prior to the arrival of disease that he is going to be infected. This may be one of the reasons which enforce an individual to conceal his travel history. Apart from this, it seems that this disease came with the intent to remind human creatures that someone who is finer and superior than them can turn the table of this universe at any time. I personally believe that any catastrophe whatever be it, hits the globe with a cause. We must find the reason behind it, why and how this happens? May be the reason lies within an individual himself/herself. We should therefore introspect ourselves and try to mutate our thinking, abilities, and doings whatever we feel should get reshaped necessarily. It is conspicuous that whenever any catastrophe comes our heads bow down to almighty only then because we are pretty sure that only mercy from the skies could evade this calamity. Almighty Allah says in Quran, take one step towards me, I will take 10 steps towards you. Walk towards me, I will run towards you. So we should as much turn to Allah (swt) in order to keep ourselves miles away from such natural disasters.
