Post 5th August Valley is facing an unstable situation, which can turn anyway. Government at the centre took a decision in haste & without taking suo motto cognizance of the outcome of the matter. Putting Separatist & mainstream camp behind the bars, treated with all time low. People are in fear psychosis. No one is able to take a decision to lead the masses in right direction. Central government’s attitude was determined during previous year’s Amarnath Yatra, which was mismanaged, but assumptions of about something big happening were being already speculated. Their evil ambitions were making rounds before, but they were waiting for the opportunity as to mislead & engage the People in other issues rather than to address the main issues of unemployment, economic status or basic amenities. People of state got disintegrated due to undeclared & prolonged curfew as they were not prepared for the same. The decision of scraping Article 370 came as a night mare for the people of J & K. Whole state of J & K was brought under curfew, people in winter capital of the state decided to become mute spectators & kept a criminal silence. Valley which has been suffering from three decades, witnessed a worst situation. Schools not functioning, public transport not on roads for months, business establishments & markets etc everything unstable.
World has been engulfed by a deadly disease, we as a community should follow the advisories of the experts to overcome the situation & lead our society in the right direction.
Due to mismanagement in Yatra, valley lost an estimated Rs 235 crores in Cherry, peach, plum, apricot & pear fruits as NH -44 was blocked for 5-6 hours & these fruit crops could not reach the mandees in time. The atrocities seems to be well planned to destabilise the economy of the state as is evident from the episode of 5th August ,we know that the fruit harvesting season starts from mid August. It could have been taken in any other time. Thousands of people were lodged in jails.
Since Separatist leadership was sent behind the bars, none from public could lead the society still, which is very worry some for the future. So civil society must pkay a role in guiding the people to a right direction. Trade unions & civil society members should join hands to make decisions on present situation ,So that livelihood of all people may not get affected. Youth and children be guided properly & not to create fuss as various routes & link roads have been captured by some youths, which sends bad Singals in the society. Damaging properties, vehicles & other establishments is loss to our own society. Now world has been engulfed by a deadly disease, we as a community should follow the advisories of the experts to overcome the situation & lead our society in the right direction.
