Zahid Majeed
Ummah-the Arabic word ummah refers to a people or a community united by
certain features that they share in common such as customs, ethnicity ,
history, religion . It can often referred to the community of Muslims(ummat-e-muslimah). it is used to express the essential unity of Muslims in diverse cultural settings across the globe .The theoretical foundation of ummah was provided by the Islamic theory of tawhid .the term has occurred sixty four times in the holy Quran to designate a people to whom Allah sends a prophet or a people who are a part of divine plan of salvation. Thus according to the Quran, Ummah is a group of people sharing common religious orientation. Everything in this universe seems that they are busy with their prayers to praise their creator. The Quran tells us that all things in the universe worship and glorify God(24:41).The birds chirping in the green boughs of the trees seem to sing songs in praise of their creator & sustainer. The trees, when they cast their shadows on the earth, seem to have lain prostrate
themselves before their creator. The sun, when it sends down its beautiful rays on earth after the darkness of night , seems to express the thought ; ‘Glorified be the one who is the source of all light. Should He choose to extinguish it, darkness would engulf the entire universe.’ It is a very same formula which man is called upon to follow. Overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s munificence, he must also give expression to his devotion by singing the glories of his lord; remembrance of God should become the daily affair of his life and devotion to Him should became a lifelong vocation. Unfortunately, the Ummat e muslimah are aloof from their creator because of the world’s luxurious life. If we see the conditions of today’s mosques in these times is quite well with the decoration made by the architectures and by the painters. But the Muslims are not present in the mosques for
worship/ibadah. Worship is the purpose of man’s life in this world as Allah
says in holy Quran : ‘I created mankind and jinn that they might worship me,
I demand no livelihood of them nor do I ask that they should feed me. God
alone is the magnificent Giver , the mighty one, the invincible.'(51:53)
This is a purpose which elicits from man his uniqueness in its ultimate
form. The muslims not worshipping Allah in every aspects of life. Less in
number are busy with praising their creator and sustainer , more than 90%
Muslims are busy with their jobs and bad things. This is the first and the
foremost reason that why Muslims in the world are not in a suitable
condition.

It is our responsibility to show the real message of Islam to the world. Inshaa Allah Islam will spread throughout the world by our hard work & by hardships.
The second point here I am going to discuss is that the ummat e muslimah’s
ulamas are busy in the sectism, they always speaks against to other sects
and the young boy’s brains are being washed by the thoughts of sexism.
Another point is the lack of Islamic knowledge (Quran, Hadith & Islamic
history) among the young Muslim students , and they are making pride on the
western culture instead of Islamic culture. If we take a short tour to our
Universities we will see all the Muslim students especially Girls are being
affected by the western culture.this is the fault of today’s co-education
system that is totalaly fraud in these times. The parents should take care
of their childrens according to the teachings of Islam. Another point is the PARDAH system -in Arabic language hijab which means to veil, to screen, to seclude, to prevent, to disappear, to vanish, eyebrow, doorkeeper etc . In aurat (women) at pakistan womens slogan was MERA JISM MERI MARZI , but we have not see to that very slogans what so ever slogan is raised in today’s world for the sake of ummate muslimah is not good for the world’s luxurious life we should take a keen respect to the slogans of islam i,e LA ILLAH ILLLA LAA MUHAMMAD UR RASOOL ALLAH(SAW). Above mentioned points have demolished ummat-e-muslimah, if we makeup to above mentioned points, then Umat e muslimah will rise again with the KALMAH-I-HAQ and with the Islamic flag throughout the world. But, it is our responsibility to show the real message of Islam to the world. Inshaa Allah Islam will spread throughout the world by our hard work & by hardships.
