Srinagar: State High Court Monday directed the government to release High Court Bar Association General Secretary Muhammad Ashraf Bhat. Bhat is currently facing detention under Public Safety Act at Srinagar Central Jail. He was arrested in October 2019 after Tehsildar issued his detention order vide number 107/151 and subsequently, PSA was slapped against him. Court sources told Kashmir News Trust that Advocate Zafar Qureshi challenged Bhat’s detention under PSA.
