The education system is totally flop in Kashmir because of conflict area, Sudents suffer the most. The irregular system, as well as constant conflict, has pushed many students into depression or other mental health issues. While the rich and powerful in the state conveniently send their children to high- standard schools and universities abroad, the middle-class has no option but to suffer on the hands of ill-equipped local schools. One of the main reason is military operations that caused most of the damage, because whenever there is a encounter in the valley, college’s and school’s are shutted down for example if a encounter is in North Kashmir, All the educational institutions had to suspend their class work across Valley.
March to March education in Kashmir: After the winter vacations completed tenth of March 2019 in Kashmir, All educational institutions to restart the class work from eleventh of march, classes remain continue till end March. After that govt authorities ordered to suspend two month class work in colleges in view of lok sabha election to be held in colleges ,then class work started for a couple of days then again suspended for the visit of Amarnath Yatra on July 2019 .
Govt authorities must restore high speed internet service in Jammu and Kashmir so that students can study through Internet service.
August 1st class work was going be started but suddenly govt announces the summer vacation upto tenths of August, before the completion of summer vacations on the night of fourth August all the contacts were isolated mobile phone,SMS , internet services and broadband were barred in whole state, the fact and issue was to announce the abrogation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and also to divide state in two union territories Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh ,due to continue shutdown all educational institutions remain till Twenty fourth of February 2020 including winter vacations. In these seven months there was only one way for students to get educated, internet service which was still suspended and students and of Jammu and Kashmir suffered a lot in these months, and also the journalists faced huge problems while the internet was barred. literacy rate of Jammu and Kashmir is decreasing day to day, twenty fourth February class work started in Kashmir valley after a long break of class work, class remain continue only for ten days and govt authorities again suspended all the educational institutions in view of COVID-19, which means caronavirus dieses Which uplifted from Wuhan capital of hubei province, people’s republic of China. Unfortunately the educational institutions to remain suspended till 31th of March it is another suffering of education for kashmiri people. The decision took by authorities in view of COVID-19 is good because prevention is better than cure. Govt authorities must restore high speed internet service in Jammu and Kashmir so that students can study through Internet service. Hence it was the brief history of Kashmir from March-19 to March-19. Moreover the students and people of Kashmir have also suffered in 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2016 also.
