Srinagar: Senior PDP leader and MLA Sonawar Mohammad Ashraf Mir on Saturday resigned from party’s basic membership.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Mir has written the resignation letter to PDP. Mir who was considered close confederate of Mehbooba Mufti said, “He has decided to resign from the party’s basic membership after thorough discussion with party workers”.
Reports said that Mir will be present during Altaf Bukhari’s presser
on Sunday where “Apni Party” is scheduled to be launched.
