Tasaduq Maqbool
Human beings have been regarded as the crown of the creation. They have been bestowed with endless vigour and mental potencies by the ultimate creator. Human beings are the only creatures who don’t have to adjust to the environment because they create their own environment. They can alter their thinking, their attitudes and their environment. So it is clear that we do possess marvelous dexterities and the abilities to make things happen. But it is a pity that we are not making the best use of our potencies and abilities. Charles schultz says, “life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use “. It is a pity that we have got more negative people than the positive ones. You know what, we are not supposed to let others dump garbage in our beautiful brains. Tjis world has a room for everyone and we can’t daunt or discourage anyone struggling to adjust to the situation, struggling to crack any competitive exam, struggling to get a job with handsome salary etc. Why should one become the source of negativity for it drains the happiness and glee from this blue planet, not to mention its hazardous effect on health?
Don’t reckon on people so much that you stop believing in yourself. Indeed god has bestowed every creature with a selling price, so nobody is worthless.
It is not fair to let our miraculous potencies remain veiled forever, to grumble about our problems and become a chronic complainer. When I hang out with my friends, I seldom find anybody in a true state of containment – that probably is the most heart-rending experience. You can never become happy without being content and without being at peace with your past. A bosom chum of mine who has perused MSc in Mathematics is complaining of atelophobia symptoms. That is really not fair. Alright I do admit that there resides a reason in him to feel down and sad but I am sure enough that there are profuse reasons in him to smile in mirth and feel blessed. That is another tragedy; we understand our queries and problems more than we understand ourselves. We need to introspect ourselves and be content with our owndoms. If you fail in performing a task, in qualifying any exam, in earning a good job, don’t ever be hard on yourself. For chicken-hearted men failure can be destructive and detrimental but an incentive for courageous one. Vicissitudes in life are inevitable for life can’t afford only gleeful moments for you. You need to learn two important qualities or attitudes – the quality of being grateful and the quality of being content. These will bless your life with a rejuvenated look for sure. Make sure your self-talk is positive and motivating. When your self-talk is negative you encounter what is called as inferiority complex. According to Mother Teresa, “the biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted.”Dead right it is! Sometimes in life when things go wrong we feel down and quit believing in ourselves. We often cry for the problems that don’t exist. With the result our confidence gets crippled and stress upsurges. There are people who search for a light source in the dark, only a few people develop brilliance and move on. We need to understand life in a full swing and come out of the fantasy world because jiffs spend in fantasy are the most bootless jiffs of life. An overnight success comes only in dreams but in reality you need to go through fire and water in order to achieve great things in life. You are expected to make best use of the owndoms you possess. Don’t reckon on people so much that you stop believing in yourself. Indeed god has bestowed every creature with a selling price, so nobody is worthless. Albert Einstein wrote, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
