Our valley has now suffered badly for more than three decades. We have lost assets in terms of precious human lives and our greater resources. There are some strong players who have done all bad to disturb us and have made our lives miserable. Our politicians have always cursed one another. Our leaders have never been honest and their approach is dull and lacks focus. They have never been visionary. Where wealth accumulates men decay and disloyalty on the empire did prey. The bigger faults have put the life of our beloved valley into shambles and towards the disaster. We have also witnessed fake promises over the past three decades and any better treatment is far from the reality. The situation was getting better and better in the valley and the tourism had started reviving its glory. The outsiders were sharing wonderful stories of beauty and hospitability of Kashmir. The fruit growers last year were more active to serve the national and International markets. But the situation again reached to the darker level after August 05 and the pain is visible. A common man is the sufferer who was locked inside a room and left at the mercy of God. First it was Govt. imposing curfews and then people were caged by the routine strikes. A poor man is always the sufferer who is not able to earn his bread and butter and is under constant threat of survival. Moreover our valley was known for the best humanity and hospitality. But the selfishness and dishonesty has taken over the humanity and the honest practices.
(It’s rightly said that after every dark there will be a bright light that makes us shine. There is no room left for us to be just a mute spectator and less effective. We have to sense our greater responsibilities. We must support our honest leaders so they get a moral boost. Delhi has given a lesson to choose the best leaders whose business is the welfare of the people).
Our workers are proving dull. Our works have turned less effective and are obsolete now. Our approach towards any work is slow and is never justified. It’s rightly said that after every dark there will be a bright light that makes us shine. There is no room left for us to be just a mute spectator and less effective. We have to sense our greater responsibilities. We must support our honest leaders so they get a moral boost. Delhi has given a lesson to choose the best leaders whose business is the welfare of the people. When we are greedy at our own levels how can we expect leaders to be our saviors? It’s a big time to introspect and be united for a good cause. We should not expect any help from others rather learn to be our own saviors. We must counsel our children to take the routes of quality education. It’s in the education that can change the world in our favor but not the weapons of destruction. It’s in this education that can win us hearts the world over and bring us back our lost culture and glory. It’s our good education that can win us peace, prosperity and development. Moreover it’s our responsibility to preserve a rich culture of our valley. We must act wisely and change our aimless strategies. We must not forget that politics is a dirty game but as responsible citizens we have to show courage and utmost temperament. Each and every member of the valley has a role in the transformation of our valley. I wish good senses must prevail now for the peace and prosperity of our valley….
