Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir in coming days. Sources within the BJP said, after implementation of UT, BJP leader will take stock of the overall situation including security one.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Union Home Minister Amit Shah will likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir in coming days. Notably this will be the first visit of Shah after re-organization of Jammu and Kashmir.
BJP sources added, Home Minister Amit Shah will take stock of the overall situation including security one. “Besides taking stock of the security scenario, Home Minister will also conduct meetings with Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu and other senior officials of the administration”.
Sources said, though the exact date of visit has not been finalized yet but it is decided that Home Minister will visit J&K positively this month. (KNS)
