Srinagar: As a part of its public outreach programme, Srinagar police Tuesday organized a police public meeting at Police Station Karan Nagar. The meeting was chaired by SHO Karan Nagar.
The meeting was attended by the community members including vehicle dealers & Traders union of Karan Nagar.
During the meeting various issues were raised by community members. The chairing officer assured them that their genuine issues pertaining to police will be redressed on priority.
Participants thanked Srinagar police for their efforts to curb social crimes from the area. They also hailed the initiative of police in facilitating community interaction meetings which has allowed people to raise their concerns freely.
