Kulgam: At least 15 people were attacked by stray dogs on Saturday at a couple of places in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, causing panic in these areas. Those attacked are being treated at the district hospital Kulgam.
In DH Pora area, a stray dog targeted over 8 people, including children, senior citizens and others walking on the road. Locals were gripped in panic as some even barged into random residences to save themselves from canine attack.
In Laisu and Mir Bazar areas as well dogs bit pedestrians mostly children and women.
A doctor at District Hospital Kulgam confirmed to CNS that they received at least 15 victims who are being treated in the hospital.
