DC Bandipora Inspects Ongoing Developmental Works in Sumbal Sub-Division

Bandipora | Sept, 9:Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Wednesday toured various areas of Sumbal Sub-Division, including Chewa, Laman and SK Bala, to conduct on-spot inspections and take firsthand appraisal of the progress of ongoing developmental works.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status and pace of execution of various works being undertaken under different development programmes and funding streams, including VBGRAM G, District Capex, schemes under PRI, DDC and BDC grants, and MPLAD funds. She also interacted with the concerned officials and took feedback on the ground-level implementation of the works.
On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Bandipora, Dr.Suhayb Ahmad Wani, briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the status and progress of the ongoing works and apprised her of various aspects related to their implementation.
The Deputy Commissioner issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers and executing agencies, stressing the need for timely completion of the works while ensuring adherence to prescribed quality standards. She directed for close monitoring of the works and timely resolution of bottlenecks, wherever required, to ensure effective execution and delivery of developmental benefits to the people.
The DC was accompanied by the concerned Executive Engineer, Block Development Officer (BDO), besides other concerned officers and officials.
