Kulgam: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani Saturday conducted an extensive tour of the district.
During the tour, the DDC in his interaction with the concerned was apprised with the status of various ongoing projects which included Gujjar and Bakerwal Girls Hostel Chawalgam, Government residential quarters Lirow, PHC Nihama, Tengam Tengbal water filtration plant.
He was accompanied by ADDC, CPO, Exen PHE, CMO, SDM Noorabad and other officers.
The concerned sectoral officers and head of the institutions briefed the DDC about the progress of various ongoing projects under execution in different parts of Kulgam.
He emphasized upon the executing agency to gear up the pace of work to complete the projects well within given time frame.
DDC visited under construction building of Public Health Centre at village Nihama, where he directed the concerned to press more men and machinery to complete pending work within stipulated timeframe.
Later DDC also visited Tengam-Tengbal water filtration plant where he interacted with the operators and other Officials of the plant.
