Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani was readmitted in SKIMS Soura for cardiac checkup and pacemaker assessment on Saturday morning.
“Generator of his pacemaker was changed by a team of cardiologists headed by HoD cardiology Professor Dr. Nisar Tramboo,” spokesman said in a statement issued on Saturday.
He said that procedure lasted for about one and a half hour and was uneventful, adding that Geelani is under strict intensive care observation and recovering by the grace of Almighty Allah, sincere and professional care and good wishes of the people.
