Bandipora: A young entrepreneur of Bandipora has changed challenge into an opportunity by making success a small business activity in conflict ridden Bndipora district in North Kashmir.
Suhail Ahmad Wani a young entrepreneur of Bandipora believes that though conditions are not favorable for running any business in Kashmir due to conflict continuing since 1947 and not heading to any dead end, but now, times are changing and so are the opportunities in the valley of Kashmir. Despite living in conflict zone Suhail is pursuing his dream and making his business a success amidst all odds just like a ship stuck amid tempest and surviving the brunt and reaching the destiny with pride. A young and talented Graphic designer namely Suhail was born on November 1, 1993, and belongs to a middle class family. He starts his schooling at Govt Primary school Pathushay Bandipora and continued her schooling at Nadim Memorial Boys Higher Secondary Bandipora but after passing his 12th class examination he started his own business.
A young emerging entrepreneur and the owner of the “SB Printing Press Bandipora” providing all kind of printing solutions and graphic designing Suhail said “it was my passion to become a businessman. During my childhood I used to visit the shop of my friend in Bandipora and learnt the basics of the printing from there. And after completion of 12th I started my own business and the struggle to establish my business was not easy for me because I come from middle class family .I battled with the hurdles and my family fully supported and encouraged me from time to time”.
He further said “youth of Kashmir are talented and successful scientists, doctors, entrepreneurs … are achieving the heights, and they are focused on their goals instead of making excuses of the present situation in Kashmir. My message to the readers especially the youth is that there is scoop in entrepreneurship and one should come in the field and work hard on the idea and develop business instead of making curse of situation if you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse”.
“The entrepreneurship lies in converting the unfavourable conditions to your advantage. The worth of making ones business successful in harsh conditions needs a strategic planning and coping with every problem creating the hurdle in pursuing dream”, he lamented, adding that “a young entrepreneur having desire innovation and creativity can become a success in business irrespective of situation, age and class and nothing should be used as an excuse for not pursuing the big dream”.
