Baramulla: District Administration Baramulla Saturday organized a special training programme on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).
The training session was attended by all the Presiding Officers (POs), appointed for polling duty.
During the programme, the participants were imparted the requisite training by the master trainers who acquainted them with its functioning in detail. The trainers explained about the functioning of Ballot Unit, Control Unit and other allied functions and operations of the electronic voting machines.
The participants were informed that the VVPAT will be used for the first time in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
