Aftermath the Pulwama attack on security forces there has been great threat to the lives of those Kashmiris who are living or studying outside. In a country where people don’t try to evolve understanding of nothing, such things at any juncture of time are expected. Period may be different, people may find other ways to do anything. It all happened when a dastard attack was carried out by Jaish Mohammad in the Southern part of Kashmir exactly in Pulwama. Every right thinking of Kashmiri condemned this attack on humanity in unequivocal terms. There is no way a common Kashmiri can glorify such acts of violence, primarily meant to break the peace process. The heart rending coming out of valley has shocked one and all. More shocking is the way things have tuned out to be for those Kashmiris who are living or studying outside the state. They are being targeted by some fringe groups only they are Kashmiris. There are so many reasons why they are being made victims of something that they have not done or will support such things. In a press conference former J&K CM and Vice president of Jknc Omar Abdullah has said that, what is our crime is our crime that we are a Muslim majority state? This may be a sort of statement by some people. But this is sounding reasonable for obvious reasons. Since what we witnessed in the Jammu follows the same edge.
There are so many people living in this country who have made this cystal clear, that Kashmiris need to prove their certificates on patriotism. This is an utter shame to ask for a common Kashmiri like this. People of Kashmir are at the receiving ends these days. Students who are studying outside the state of J&K only go there to crave for a better cum peaceful future. Then how come on this earth you can beat them in a wicked way? Don’t you know like poor CRPF personnels they too have families? In Kashmir there are abundance people of other states who are living, earning bread and are lavishing hospitality that they have got from Kashmiris. This making of Kashmiris as soft targets is footprints of mobocracy in this country and people who are at helm of the affairs are backing them. Why didn’t we saw a single word of condemnation from the Prime Minister of India on this? The same person who once from the red ramparts of the Red Fort advocated words on the lines of healing touch for the Kashmiris. Is, this only beacuse general elections are just some months away and it’s only beacuse of them you are trying to please the other people of this country by playing politics on such sensitive issue confined of loss of lives of human beings.
People who are not educated enough on Kashmir are saying anything, anytime. They don’t know their utterances have negative outcomes. The governor of the state is acting as the Spokesman of the right wing government. He has no time to reflect on the situation of Kashmiri students rather he prefers to be in news, and issues statements in cozy rooms. There are people in India who want Kashmir without Kashmiris and still they are asking poor Kashmiris to prove their certificates on patriotism. How can they feel plight of Kashmiris?
