Bilal Lone led PC to be called now “Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement”

Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat Conference (M) leader Bilal Gani Lone on Wednesday changed the name of his party from Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference to Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement to what he called me to “end any confusion in taking forward his father’s legacy”.
Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq made the announcement during a press conference at Raj Bagh office of the amalgam Wednesday.
Bilal Gani Lone is the elder brother of Sajad Gani Lone who heads Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference an erstwhile ally of BJP in the previous Mehbooba Mufti ledPDP-BJP coalition government. Till now Bilal Gani Lone was also claiming to be the head of the his own Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference a part of Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq led Hurriyat Conference much popularly called Hurriyat Conference (M) Now with the changing name of his Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference to Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement the confusion is clear now
