New Delhi/Jan,27: The hearing in the Babri Masjid Ayodhya case could not take place on January 29 as per the earlier scheduled, as one of the judges in the Supreme Court’s five judge Constitution bench, Justice S A Bobde would be on leave.
Due to the non-availability of Justice Bobde on January 29, there won’t be any hearing by the Constitution Bench in the Ram janmabhoomi, Babri Masjid civil title land dispute case.
In January 25, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi in a new notice reconstituted a new five judge bench to hear the sensitive Babri Masjid Ayodhya case . On the last date of hearing in the case on January 10, one of the Judges in the bench, Justice UU Lalit had recused from hearing the case.
