Srinagar: Authorities here in South Kashmir’s district Pulwama have booked three youth including a student under contentious Public Safety Act.
Reports said that trio have been booked under PSA and shifted to Kot Balwal Jail Jammu for their alleged role in stone-pelting. They according to a police official have been booked for being militant sympathizers.
A police official identified the trio as Muhammad Shafi Mir son of Muhammad Ramzan Mir of Kharpora Sirnoo, Amir Shafi son of Muhammad Shafi Bhat of Karimabad and Suhail Ahmad Wagay son of Ghulam Muhammad Wagay of Sirnoo.
They have been booked under the PSA vide separate government orders as DMK/PSA/1/2019, DMK/PSA/2/2019 and DMK/PSA/3/2019 respectively.
Suhail Ahmed, one among the arrested youth is studying in one of the colleges in Benguluru Karnatka who had been arrested by police some two months back when he arrived home.
