Srinagar: Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday remembered former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto who was assasinated on this day in 2007.
In a tweet, Mirwaiz said that Bhutto had called him her younger brother at their first meeting at the OIC summit in 1994. “Remembering #ShaheedBenazirBhutto a great leader and an ardent supporter of #Kashmir cause on her #MartyrdomAnniversary ,recall our first meeting at OIC summit in Casablanca 1994,her great affection for me whom she called her younger brother. May Allah grant her a place in Jannah,” tweeted the Mirwaiz.
