Srinagar: Shalindra Kumar presently holding the position of principal secretary industries and commerce department in Jammu and Kashmir government has been appointed as new chief electoral officer of Jammu and Kashmir.
A notification to this effect has been issued by election commission of India wherein it has been ordered that Shalindra Kumar shall not hold additional charge of any other department till further orders.
