Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Sunday called for a general strike in the Kashmir valley on Monday against the killing of 17 killings, mostly militants during the past three days.
A statement issued here this afternoon said that JRL, comprising Sye Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Omar Farooq and Mohammad Yaseen Malik, has called for general strike tomorrow against the killings.
It said that 17 persons, including six militants each in Anantnag and Shopian, were killed in the valley during the past 3 days.
